Amanda Kirpitch is a warm, compassionate nutrition and diabetes educator with a wealth of experience. Working for over 15 years with patients of all ages has given her the opportunity to understand the many different approaches to nutrition therapy and provide an individualized approach that is realistic and manageable. Whether you are struggling with your relationship with food, need help with diabetes management, or need to fuel your body better for performance, Amanda's goal is to help you appreciate your role in your care as well as enjoy a full and balanced life.
Amanda Kirpitch, MA RD CDE previously worked as a nutrition and diabetes educator at Columbia University as well as the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, MA providing individual and group counseling on topics including weight management, sports nutrition, and eating disorders. Amanda worked with the Why WAIT Program (Weight Achievement Intensive Treatment) helping patients make effective and lifelong commitments to healthy eating. Amanda received her bachelor of science in human nutrition, foods, and exercise from Virginia Tech and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey and a Masters in Nutrition at Boston University Medical School.
